X-Factor have certainly faced some interesting crises before (at least half of them tangentially related to one of Madrox's dupes), but nothing prepares them for a smoking hot Asgardian client. Hela, goddess of the underworld has Pip the Troll as a new plaything and X-Factor must travel from NYC to Hela's home turf of Las Vegas to set things right!
Peter David continues to pen the best (perhaps only) character-driven superhero noir comic book in the industry. Certainly there are some great battle scenes between Hela's Asgardian monsters and X-Factor's heroes. I can recommend this novel (and this series) to readers looking for an original superhero title.

Very original; very uncensored, very very good.
I love when they involve essential characters of the Marvel Universe to make the story more solid. Peter David set the bar even higher with this book.

I've been slowly buying these X-Factor books one at a time through . Some are better than others. A few, like this one, were just good enough to convince me to keep buying the next one. (So far, I'm up to volume 15.)
